Brenda, I would certainly enjoy sharing with anyone having info on the
Sheffield and Carlton families who inhabited that area in the 1800s,
especially Isham Sheffield who is buried at Old Mt Moriah. It is thought that
he is the father of Mark Calloway Sheffield born 1854, Paulding. Mark married
Nancy Josephine Carlton, daughter of Henry S. Carlton and Amanda Caldwell
Johns Carlton. She was born in Paulding Co in 1858. If that isn`t enough, My
grandfather, Jesse Glenn Hitchcock was born in Paulding in 1874, and I`m
related to most, if not all, of the present day Hitchcocks.Thanks,
