Searching for info on the Fountain Family. Nancy Fountain married James Brown (son of John W. & Loduskey Ann Tidwell Brown). They were married 11-27-1887. Nancy was born abt 1870 & James abt 1869. They had 3 children that we know of Cornelius, John (1889), & Benjamin. Nancy's brother David (we beleive or cousin??) married James sister Sarah Frances "Fannie Brown(1873). They were married 9-18-1887. We know of one son James Walter Fountain. It was about this time that the Brown family left GA for the Oklahoma Indian Territory. Loduskey had been given land due to her Cherokee heritage. Another Brown child Nancy married a J. T. Miller on the same day that Nancy Fountain & James Brown married. We feel they were all married at this time because they were leaving to go to OK. We know that James & Nancy Fountain went to OK. They are listed on the 1890 Ok Indian census with John & Loduskey. Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated.
