Subject: Regards to Hawkinsville Public Library/policy re obituaries

I need an obituary for someone who died in Hawkinsville in 1985. When I
called information to get the number for the public library I was given
912-783-4154. I have called but no one answers. I was wondering if anyone
has the number for the public library in Hawkinsville and the address; also
can anyone tell me their policy concerning lookups for obituaries and mailing
them. Some libraries will mail copies of obituaries sometimes for free,
sometimes for a fee; but sometimes the library system is too small to use
time for obituary searches. If anyone knows how the Hawkinsville Library
handles such request I would appreciate the information.
