I think I just hit pay dirt. The story is that my Charles Gardner took his son, Henry back to England to settle some estate but by the time he got back there, it was all said and done and he didn't fight it.

Never knew if the story was true. Elder relative was in a wheelchair and was pushed off a balcony or down stairs.

I just found June 20, 1892 on the ship Aurania from Liverpool the following:

C.W. Gardner age 59 years old and H.W. Gardner, age 19 years old on the Ellis Island sight.

But when I looked at the manifest, they are not on there like it says, I have gone a page back and forward. It says line 846 & 847 but it doesn't correspond. Can I get some help on getting this?

This would give me an idea of the time frame for the death in England and maybe I can find out the relative he that was there which would give me more clues.
