I find Gershom Bills married Sarah Gardiner in Monmouth County, NJ

I find Nathaniel Bills as witness to two marriages, first at the marriage of
Robert Bonell of Philadelphia to Esther of Shrewsbury at the house of Eliakim
Wardell (Friends' Records of Shrewsbury, NJ) and second as a witness at the
marriage of Walter Harbart of Shrewsbury to Sarah Tilton of Middletown, 1704,
2nd of 4th mo. Mary Bills is signed directly below Nathaniel.

Nathaniel's will of Jan 24 1728-29 names Joseph Gardiner as Executor.

Because it appears to me that this family is of Shrewsbury and most likely a
Quaker family, I respectfully suggest that you post to the Quaker-Roots list.
The members of that list are very knowledgeable and quite helpful and might be
able to help you prove or disprove your marriage of Nathaniel Bills to Mary
Gardiner.

I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more help. I would be interested in knowing
how this quest turns out. I have two Bills in my database and many
Gardner/Gardiners. I would love to have more data.
