I am currently researching the descendants of William Gardner (of Scotland).
William came to Canada in 1821 with the Lanark Society with his wife Mary
Lindsay and also, son Walter Gardner, b. 1775 and wife Cecelia Brown, b.
1783. They settled in Lanark Caounty (Ontario, Canada). I currently have
information dating to my father's generation, but nothing further and
nothing prior to the immigration to Canada. If anyone has any information
that may be connected, it would be greatly appreciated. It would be very
interesting to know just how big my family is.
