Hi, everybody:

If you are going to respond to what is turning
into an *UNOFFICIAL* roll call, a couple of
points. First, PLEASE change the subject line of
your message! A fascinating discourse on your
GARDNER ancestors may be unread because it has a
completely irrelevant "Please submit ..." subject
line.

Second, roll calls have limited value. The list
archives are searchable, and if you have
previously posted information to the list it
will stay available "forever". However, if this
prompts you to post NEW information, or a query
that you haven't posted in at least six months
or so, then maybe this "roll call" may turn out
to be a good thing yet.
