Massachusetts Centinal Marriage Notices

Boston has been the home to many newspapers throughout its history.
This database contains marriage notices from one of these area newspapers.

The Massachusetts Centinal began publication in 1784, in the growing metropolis,

as a semi-weekly newspaper. In 1790 its name changed to the Columbian Centinel
and publication ceased in 1840. This database is one of four volumes covering
marriage notices from this newspaper throughout its printing. It contains
persons whose last name begins with A-D.

Carlton,Ambrose,of Richmond,Va.,m.Mary Ann Dow Gardner,
daughter of late Dr.James Gardner,in Lynn (CC.Sept.8,1832)
