LEXINGTON: Michael Aaron Gardner, age 46, of 917 Independence
Street, New Orleans, LA, died Monday March 26, 2001 following a long
illness.
He was born March 21, 1955 in Hartland, Maine, to Philip L. & Dolores
Stedman Gardner. He was graduated from Colonel Crawford High School with
the class of 1973. He lived in the New Orleans area for the past 18 years.
A US Navy veteran, he served aboard the US Naval Aircraft Carriers
and was stationed in San Diego, CA.
Mr. Gardner was an electrician with the Avondale Shipyards. He was an
avid artist who loved painting portraits and landscapes.
Mr. Gardner is survived by his parents Philip L. & Dolores Gardner of
Lexington; a sister and brother-in-law April & Gary Huber of Crestline; three
brothers and two sisters-in-law Eric Gardner of Bucyrus, Steven & Vanessa
Gardner of Bucyrus and Lee & Kim Gardner of Lexington; seven nephews and
six nieces.
A graveside funeral service for family and friends will be held Wednesday
at 11 am in Lexington Cemetery. The Rev. Brian Durbin will officiate. The
Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
