Let's not change the Gardner name I would have to take back 6 bottles of headache medicine if we did.
After 27 years of recearch I have the following. can any one add to it?

Who are the parents of my Samuel Gardner b. 1787 VA md Sarah Jane Willingham ca 1815 Warwick Co., Indiana, they had Elizabeth b.1819 Ind., James Monroe Gardner b 1824 IND, Hutchins B. Gardner b. 1828 MO., Samue B. Gardner b. 1833 MO., and Sarah Jane Gardner b. 1824 MO.
Elizaeth E. Gardner md 10 Jan 1839 Chariton Co., MO Robert W. Phillips.
James M Gardner md 20 Nov 1845 Margaaret T. Wells in Chariton Co., MO
Hutchins B. Gardner md ca 1851 Rebecca Freeman in Keytesville, Chariton Co., MO (have more on this one, their daughter Mary Ann and Son James Monroe Gardner, went to Oregon with mother and James Monroe Payne {see below} Mary Ann Gardner Md Julius Kellogg and moved to Syskiyou Co., CA. , James Monroe Gardner md and lived in Yreka, CA, had son Thomas who had a daughter Amy Gardner who md ---- Pigeon)
Samuel B. Gardner md 1) Sarah Jane Payne 13 Nov 1851 and 2) Margaret Brook both in Chartion Co., MO
Sarah Jane Gardner MD 30 May 1852 James Monroe Payne In Chariton Co. MO (she died 27 Aug 1863 and James Monroe payne md his sister in law, Rebecca Freeman Gardner, widow of Hutchins B. Gardner and moved to Josephine Co., Oregon)
