Dear Brian, I have done a lot of research on the Steuben Co. Gradner's. I
have a William T. who married a Susan Smith, he was in Painted Post Steuben
Co. Yet, I remember seeing a William who at this time( I think the 1850-60
census) was living with his daughter, I believe in Corning NY and I think
the census showed him being born in New Hampshire..I think he is buried in
South Corning Cemetery. I'm looking for that. There is also a William in
Pultney 1830-40 (Steuben CO.) and in Tyrone which was then Steuben but is
now Schyuler Co. There is a will at the county offices for a William. The
next time I get over there I will check it out for you. It wont be right
away....Yet, Ill see what I can find. Teresa
