Hi all, I'm new to this list and am researching the Gardner family who migrated from the Darlington District of South Carolina to Montgomery, Alabama. My ggg grandfather, Stephen Gardner, was born about 1804/1805 there in South Carolina and census shows he was at his residence in Montgomery county in 1830. His wife's name is unknown. His children are: Alpha Gardner (my gg grandmother), Susan B. Gardner, Catherine Gardner, Frances I. Gardner, Enos Marion Gardner, John F. Gardner, possibly Stephen Gardner, and possibly more. I have details on some of the children if anyone is interested.

If anything sounds familiar, I'd appreciate any help - thank you -
