I am looking for information for Johan Adam Gaertner and Katherine Schmidt. One of their sons was John Peter Gartner, 1882 - 1953 who married in 1903 to Pauline Prediger (daughter of Alex). John and some of his siblings and their families came to Canada 1907 and settled in Saskatchewan in the Provost, Mackin, and Grosswerder areas. Other families that are of interest to me are the Stang, Schmidt, Sieben, Brost, Weinkauf, Rolheiser, Reschny, Kohlman, Lauman and Doetzel families.
