After my post last night about the Allen family, I received this from Byron
Gordon. Alice, that he mentions here, I believe is from a different Allen
family that lived in the LaCrosse area of Schley County. She was born after
the 1880 census, so that makes it a little harder to determine who her
parents may have been. I know there are both Allen and Lumpkin researchers
that monitor this list, so I'm hoping there might be someone who could help
us know more about Alice Allen Lumpkin.

Schley Co as My Wife's Paternal Grandfather Married A Alice ALLEN b-Jan 30,
1881 In Schley-? d- Jan 17, 1941 in Turner Co.
m- Dec 6, 1899 to Loutius L. LUMPKIN in Ellaville Ga. They are on the 1900
Schley Census 882 GM Family No. 9 Part is unreadable.
I have no other Info.
Any Help would be Appreciated.
