MRS. N.J. MANNING SUCCUMBS AT 86
Mrs. N.J. Manning, aged mother of Mr. S.A. Manning, prominent Ellaville
merchant, died at her home in Funston, Ga., several hours after Mr. Manning
had returned home from a visit with her. She would have been 87 years old
June 21. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday. Mrs. Manning was the
mother of 12 children. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W.F. Stripling of
Framville, Va., and Miss Nettie Manning of Funston; seven sons, S.A. Manning,
Ellaville; the Rev. Peter Manning, pastor of Inman Park Methodist church, who
conducted a revival here last spring; R.D. Manning, Alpharetta; Roy Manning,
of Moultrie, and Joe Manning, of Funston.
