CURT ENGLISH DIES IN PORTLAND, OREGON
Word was received here Wednesday of the death of Curt English, 67, former
local man, in Portland, Oregon, Tuesday night at 7:30 o'clock. Death followed
a relapse of influenza which he had suffered several weeks ago. The body will
be brought to Reynolds for funeral services and burial. Mrs. Etta Royal, his
sister, had not been notified Thursday when the rites would be held. The son
of Thomas and Eliza Higgins English, Mr. English married Miss Florine Ogburn,
of Reynolds. They moved to Oregon about 40 years ago when Mr. English
accepted a position with a railroad. Surviving besides his widow and sister,
his three brothers, W.L. and Russell English of Oglethorpe and Wiley English,
of Englishville
