Hi Scottie and thanks for the reply.
I have Spier Blitch born abt 1718 in England and married
Mary Spier abt 1737 in England. They had Thomas born 28
Oct 1746 in St Matthews Parish, GA. He married Ann Hodges
born abt 1748 in Effingham Co GA and their 6th child was
Thomas born 1777 and died 1857.
Here's one of the sources:
Oconee Indian War(1785-1796)
War of 1812
Florida Indian War, 1819
Was born after his father went to war 'hence never saw his
father'. Was born on the old home place and resided there
all his life. He served in the Florida Indian War of 1819
and was wounded in his left hand. He ws about 80 years old
when he died.
Huxfod Genealogical Society Vol. XIII No. II, page 160.
I cannot find an Elizabeth but if you can add or correct
anything when you collect your book, I'd be appreciative
of your time and efforts.
I have some Hursts in the line also.
I am descended as follows:
Spier & Mary, Thomas & Ann (Hodges), Benjamin & Sarah
Spier, Benjamin Jr and Harriet(Wilson), Emma & Robert
Wolfe.
Thanks!
Ann
