Scottie,
Hate to keep bothering you. Can't believe the family twining! You
mentioned Miriam. The previous Palmer researcher had Samuel and Anne Brunson
Palmer's children as Miriam, Elizabeth, Susan, Charles. I later found Mary. Now, I
guess I will have to find out which is correct! You say it is Hardin?
Right?

Charles Palmer who moved to Decatur Co. and later to Mitchell Co. is my
line. We have a book on his descendents and some of the descendents are thinking
about updating the book and putting an index in it..(thank heavens). This
Palmer family lived in Mitchell Co. from the 1860s until present. I think we
are kin to most of the old families in Mitchell Co.... not all!
When I was young and met someone for the first time, my grandmother would
tell me how I was kin to that person. Sometimes they were double cousins. I
began to think was there anyone out there that WAS NOT kin? There were a lot
not kin, but to me, my family tree seemed so large!

Our Palmer reunion of the descendents of Charles Palmer will be held the 23
of July at Mizpah Baptist Church in Grady Co.

Nora
