Hello List,
I am new to the list and need help on the above surnames.
William H. Logan married Elizabeth McCormick in SC. They were the parents of
the
following children:
William Alexander Logan, married unk
Elizabeth Royane, married Charles W. Coker 01 Oct 1854, Coweta Ga
John B. F., married Mary E. Moses, 05 Feb 1857
Daniel K. Logan, married Matilda Entriken, 04 Mar 1860
Theophilus F. Logan, married Mary Jane Cobb (daughter of W. A. and J. M. Cobb)
William and Elizabeth lived in Coweta Co Ga (listed on the 1850 census) with
their
children. About 1852 or so moved to Sumter Co, and remained there until their
deaths. Elizabeth, Theo, Mary Jane and family were members of the First
United
Methodist Church in Americus, Ga. Theo also served Ga in the War between the
States (9th Ga Inf Co K). He and his wife Mary Jane are buried in Oak Grove
Cemetery, Americus, Ga. The three older boys to my knowledge never lived in
Sumter Co.
Are there any descendants of the above who would have information I would
love to share, compare information on the families.
