My ggm, Cornelia Anna Walker was b. Sumter Co. 1840's
Her parents were Philip Walker b. 1814 and Martha Singletary.
Philip's father was John Walker b. 1788. Philip and John were born in NC.
Philip and Martha also had a son killed in the Civil War. I do not have
his name at hand. There was also a son, George Thomas Walker. They lived
in a part that later became part of Schley Co. Could this be your Walker
line?
