Martha,

I have a Naylor question for you. Below, is posted a few notes on Redding
Naylor who was a member of Co. G, 5th Ga. Inf. (the "Schley Guards"). I
did some research on the men of this company and continue to be interested
in them. Could these connect to your Naylor's?

Naylor, R(edding)--- private August 4, 1862. Discharged, disability, January
8, 1863. Married Lucinda E. Guice, Sept. 30, 1860 Sumter Co., Ga. Mrs. R.
Naylor is on 1864 Schley Salt List as wife of soldier in service. Death 25
Jan 1865 WFT post Mrs. L.E. Naylor filed widow's claim
in Floyd Co. She is found on the 1880 Floyd Co. census with two Naylor
daus. and Wyatt Guice, son. 2 doors away is son Winfield Guice and family.

Harris
