Hart Family Cemetery

Location:
The grave is located 1 and 4/10's mile below Pine Level
Cemetery on Highway 90. It is on the left as you go south

It is my understanding that Watson's Mill was owned by Elizabeth's Hart
son-in-law and daughter Perry and Martha Hart Watson. It is said that her
tombstone is located in what was once her garden.

An old house used to be there, but it has since
burned. It was known as the Lumpkin House according to the people I talked
with at the time. .

The tombstone reads
In memory of
Elizabeth Hart
Born May 8, 1798
Died Oct. 16, 1875

Thomasina
(daughter of Elizabeth Hart)
no tombstone

Grandchild
(no tombstone)


(As an aside, the grave is the same headstone as her daughter's Nancy
Fowler's, who is buried in Pine Level Cemetery.)
