Samuel Duke and Martha are listed in the 1870 census as ages 70 and 60
respectfully. they no doubt, were married before they came to Taylor County.
They reported that they were born in South Carolina.

I do not find a grave for either in Taylor County. However, there are Dukes
buried in Turner's Chapel cemetery.
