ADAMS FAMILY REUNION


The descendants of Joseph Randall Adams and Mary Elizabeth Caldwell Adams
will hold their annual reunion at the Butler Lunch Room in Butler, Ga. on
Saturday August 12, 2000. We will met at 10:00 a.m. and lunch will be at
12:30 p. m. Please bring a basket lunch and join us. The plates, cups, ice,
and utensils will be furnished. We still have a few of our cookbooks
remaining and they will be for sale at the reunion.
The children of Joseph & Mary Caldwell Adams were: Lillie Abigail Adams
Ellington, Alice S. Adams Ellington, John Henry Adams, Martha F. Adams
McComb, Ida Belle Adams Culverhouse, George Gresham Adams, William Benjamin
Adams, Joseph Lee Adams, Albert Creed Adams and Lola Sprinkle Adams Waters.
The Adams Family Reunion was started as a birthday celebration for Mary
Elizabeth Caldwell Adams who was born July 16, 1845. The Reunion was started
in the late 1800s and is believed to have been held continues for over 100
years.
There will be old pictures of the family and friends from years past on
display. We welcome any pictures that you can share with us and invite all
