Subject: [GATERRELL] New BRAZEL info in GA 1863-1944
Date: Sat, 18 Jan 2003 16:31:01 -0500
New information from William BRAZEL's death certificate indicates his
father's name was Mark BRAZEL, mothers's name unknown and his late
spouse's maiden name was Ida JONES. He is shown as having lived in GA
all his life. Family says that could have been in Calhoun, Randolph or
Terrell Counties
Below is what I had previously posted:
William (middle name Luther??) Brazel, b. 08-23-1863 - d. 02-07-1944,
spouse Ida ?
their son:
Ben. B. Brazel, b. 08-10-1891 (or 1895) - d. 09-22-1962, spouse Sarah
Elizabeth (Lizzie) Yelverton,
(The Yelverton family line is very well researched.).
Ben & Sarah Elizabeth's children:
Kenneth, married Mildred (?)
Benjamin, married Eunice Shattles
W. B. (that was his actual, name just initials) b. 1920 - d. 1987, never
married
Walter James, b. 1921 - d. 1982, married Eugenia (?)
Raz Warren, b. 1923- d. 1979, married Janet Nichols
Charles L., married Rebecca Conley
Geraldine, married Eugene Kearce
The family moved around a lot it seems, from Calhoun, Randolph, Marion,
and Stewart Counties in GA,
Holmes County, FL, Coffee County Alabama, etc... Most of these listed
seemed to return to settle and live
out the rest of their lives in Calhoun, Randolph, and Terrell Counties in
Georgia.
Regards,
Gary
