Good point, I suppose I need to go read the microfilm. I need to follow
Blackmon Dixon through the 1860, 1870, and 1880 Census anyway. I know there
are many transcription errors recorded.

Great to know a near neighbor is also researching in Troup Co.

Have you considered the possibility that the Martha aged 26 might have
been misrecorded by the census taker (or mistranscribed if you consulted
a printed source) and that she was really 46? I've found many such age
errors.
