Thanks for your reply. I am a descendant of Winfield Scott MURRAY by his
second wife, Nancy PETTY, but I was given this data on W.S. Murray's first
wife by a Cockram researcher:

Caroline ROGERS parents were:

Clarissa COCKRAM b. abt. 1793, NC, married Robert ROGERS b. abt. 1792 in
Tennessee.

Clarissa's father was:

William COCKRAM, b: Abt. 1769 in NC;/
.................d: April 26, 1841 in Avery's Creek, Buncombe Co., NC

William Cockram's father was: Daniel COCKERHAM.

I was only recently given this information, and hope to receive more on
it myself. I have sent you an e-mail, too.
