Be it Remembered, that on the Fourth day of November in the year
Eighteen Hundred and Fifty-Two personally appeared before me,
Joel Matthews, Clerk of the Superior Court of Said County ,
( the same being a Court Record, having a Clerk Seal.)
LOUIS HAMBURGER
Who was duly sworn, upon his oath saith, that his name is
LOUIS HAMBURGER.
That he was born in the Kingdom of Bavaria in the County of
Rhein-Pfalye, that he is about twenty one and a half years of age; has dark
eyes, dark hair, and light complexion; that he is subject of
said Maxi William 2nd, that he has immigrated from Durkhim and landed at the
New York in the State of New York in the United States, in the month of June
1850 and that he intends to settle in the State of Georgia.
And Further this deponent says, that is it bona fide his intention to
become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance
and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, or Sovereignty whatsoever,
and Particularly to said Maxi William 2nd of whom he now a subject: (Only he
has already abandoned him.)
Sworn to and subscribed before me, this Tenth day of November 1852.
