I am a direct descendant of William Tyre the son of Major. William and family moved to Columbia County Florida where they can be found on the 1850 census(?) might be New River. William married Bertinence Anderson and their son Benjamin was my Great Great Grandfather. He married Celia Harris and they are buried in Greenpond, Polk County Florida.
