My great grandfather, William Alexander McCook was married to Marcilla Wood. Found marriage certificate at the Suwannee County Court House in Live Oak, Florida.
Marcilla's parents were Lawrence H. Wood and Wealthy Ann Lavender.
Would be interested in hearing more about your MCCOOK family connections.
I have a letter written by Elizar Wood of Toomsboro, Ga, to my great grandfather, William Alexander McCook. The letter is dated 1889.

Patrick H. McCook born 1825-27 - born in Crawford Co., Ga
William Alexander McCook born 14 November 1847 born in GA
Alexander Osborn McCook born 21 August 1895 b. Suwannee Co., Florida
Leonard Alexander McCook born 17 January 1920 b. Suwannee Co., Florida
