Acc. to "Wilkinson County Historical Collections" by Joseph T. Maddox, pub. 1973 (page 384), your Green B. Shepherd was born in 1851 and was the son of BERRY B. SHEPHERD (b. 1815) and Mahaney Hatcher (born 1825). Berry B. was son of Wiley and Margaret Shepherd, and Mahaney was dau. of James and Sara Clay Hatcher. The wife of Green B. Shepherd was Sue Hall. I hope this helps. (I am not related to the Shepherds).
