Beth,
Lawrence Axton married into my Lamb family, my gg grandfather's sister, Martha E. Lamb. They lived in Vidalia, Toombs County, Ga. Martha was from the Jefferson/Emanuel area. If I can be of help let me know. They are buried in the Ferguson Cemetery in Montgomery County. Their son, Ben and his wife are buried in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Vidalia.
I would love to share info with anyone researching this line.
