Are you related to this family? I don't know anything about Anna except that
she is listed in "Wills and Cemeteries of Wilkinson county GA 1817- 1920"
along with several of her siblings and her parents (all buried at "Irwinton"). I
know a bit more about James Chambers brother of William Irwin Chambers and also
the other three sisters of the Hannah Jane (Hall). Hannah and William are
also listed in Gravestone Inscriptions & Lineages Wilkinson county GA by Joseph
T Maddox
the cemetery is listed as Irwinton ( I can only presume it is the city
cemetery)

Beware that Victor Davidson has Hannah's father listed incorrectly as Ira
which is actually the name of William and Hannah's son. I'm descended from
Hannah's sister Hollan Hepsibeth Hall and James M Willis. I met a grandson and
gr-grandaughter of James Chambers (brother of William Irwin Chambers) that had gone
to GA back in the 1970's to research his ancestors and he found several
letters many written by James Chambers after he removed to what was then Drew
county Arkansas but I don't know where he found the letters.

There is a bible transcription on the Halls at
http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/nc/craven/bibles/hall01.txt

it lists a fifth Hall sister but she must have died young as she didn't make
it to the guardianship records for orphans William A Hall and Zilpha Jones
(zilpha didn't die just William). Searches on this board for Willis and/or
Chambers and Hall should bring up most of my previous posts. you also need to
search for posts by Edgar Chambers. He died this past year and I don't know if
anyone picked up his research but he was related to that line somehow.

Thinking about it, I may have talked to you once before so I'll wait until I
hear back before I bore you to tears with info you may not want.
