Lora: Have read with interest your exchanges on Gay family. I am descended
from Thomas and Mary (Polly) Wilson Gay of Franklin County, NC. I know
there must be a close connection because the name of Sherrod Gay is also
prevalent in NC line. My gg grandfather, Bennett Gay, had a brother
Sherrod. That family lived and died in the Seven Paths area of Franklin
County, NC. Do you think you elderly relative might know of some connection
