I sent the same list to Deloris Harrington on 070396. The lists
are from the Lemuel P. Conner and Family Papers, 1818-1865,
Adams County, MS and Concordia Parish, LA. - part of a
collection at the Louisiana State University. The family also
owned Killarney Plantation, Linden Plantation, Recard
Plantation, Grove Plantation, Rifle Point Plantation (LA),
Melrose Plantation, Rifle Point Plantation(TX), Franklin Place
Plantation, Northampton Plantation, Buena Vista Plantation, and
Spokane Plantation. The Lemuel P. Conner Papers are available as
part of the Records of Ante-Bellum Southern Plantations from the
Revolution through the Civil War, Kenneth M. Stampp, General
Editor - Series I(eye), Part 3. I will send the list of slaves
taken from Killarney Plantation next.

I received a letter from Louisiana African-Americans, Danell
Spillman, Editor, with the Will of Dr. Samuel Gustine, Concordia
Parish, in which he willed the Rifle Point Plantation, Concordia
Parish, eight or nine miles above Vidalia, LA to his sister,
Jane E. B. Conner, wife of William C. Conner the father of
Lemuel P. Conner. A list of 178 slaves in the property inventory
was also sent to me. Thanks to you Valencia, Hasker, and
everyone. Edward Adams-Schaumburg, Illinois
