I have encountered five different folks including some of my own
who state they are descendents of Blackfoots of NC. The
geographic area was Halifax and Hertford(home of Ahoskie). I
have talked to members of the present day Haliwa-Saponi who were
not familiar with them.I am fully aware of the Blackfoot of the
West!. Does anyone know of an elder or historian that I could
talk to about this?

My gut feeling on this is that the Blackfoots as they called
themselves were a mixed clan of the Tuscarora.
Any help would be appreciated.
