I would love to hear from anyone that knows of a bit of history about the
Fanti
Tribe of Africa. I am presently doing family research and in a book
"Annals of
Anguilla" it gives reference to the Fanti tribe names, Quashi, Quacou,
Quow,
Quamin, Membah and Cumbah. Need a bit of history on this tribe and it's
traditions to see if any where carried over through my ancestors from
Africa.
Need to know what was the name of the ship that would have brought the
slaves
over to the british west indies around the 1800s.
