I have recently been come across a number of ancestors that were Dutch and
would like to know more about finding where they came from and if there
any cousins back in the home country that would like to exchange
information? I have never done this before and do not know if I even left
the correct address in which to leave me a message-- if not I will get
back to this area real soon.

I am looking for ancestors with the last names of Van Der Hoeven or Van
Der Hoef, Ackerman, De Villiers, Romeyn, and Schuyler. Now all I really
know about any of these families is that most had arrived in the new world
by about 1665. The Ackerman's came over from "Nort-Branbat" on the ship
"The Devot" or "The Fox" in 1635? I am currently trying to piece all
these facts together and I am running into misspellings and incorrect
dates---but at least it is a start!

I would greatfully appreciate any help anyone is willing to give and look
forward to hearing from someone. Thanks!!! Matt Jeffers
