Looking for family members. Grandfather's name was Jan DeVoogd born
8/9/1889 in Serooskerke, Zeeland. Married Maatje Labruyere on 9/10/1913.
Maatje was born 10/29/1890 in Arnemuiden, Zeeland. Grandfather was in the
cavalry and emigrated to Canada and then to the United States aprox. 1923.
Before emigrating to the Canada the were 4 children born
1) Joos born 2/4/1914 died 5/7/1914(born or buried in Koudekerke, Zeeland)
2) Cornelia born 3/12/1915
3) Leintze born 4/8/1918
4) Laurens born 10/18/1920
Grandmother and children came to United States after grandfather. She
came through Ellis Island, N.Y.
