I understand Cajun is asking for the Ste Croix his/her ancestors came from...
And many of these immigrants settled in ... Holy Cross/Wi
So, take a map (a real one... 1:25.000 are the best!)
and look at the Province of Luxembourg (not the Grand-Duchy!)
Find Arlon, draw a line from that City due south in the direction Messancy
Aubange-Athus Longwy
Five Km from Arlon, you have Wolkrange.
Ste Croix is a hamlet of Wolkrange!
they have a very active genealogy club!
