Do you think it is possible that the name deAngury could be a corruption
of either Dangreau or Delangre? My grandfather Eugene deAngury is said to
have come from Belgium to the US (Louisiana) in the 1800's, but I have not
been able to find any records of this name in any of the census records
for the area he was supposed to have gone (Vermilion Parish).
