Hello Ber,
My Latin is very basic as well. But you can send your request to the
translation team that is organised through the German University of Giessen
and consists of volunteers who help with translations that are related to
genealogy.
Here is how it works:
HOW TO USE THE TRANSLATION TEAM FORWARDER
1.) Address
Send your requests to
2.) Syntax
First line should read
#SRC>DEST
where SRC is the source language and DEST is the destination language
Example:
#ENG>GER
for an English to German translation (mind the # sign!)
(First line is the first line of the message body, not the Subject line)
3.) Supported languages
Currently we support the following languages:
CZEch, DANish, DUTch, ENGlish, FINnish, FREnch, GERman, KORean,
NORwegian, POLish, PORtuguese, ROManian, SPAnish, SWEdish
If translations are longer than 40 lines, they may be given to different
translators who will contact you.
I can also translate this text into German for you if that helps. If there is
anything I can help with, please let me know.
Vriendelike groeten,
Petra :)
