LOL ....Yes You are right Menno...I was particularly frustrated at the time
of my previous post....I was Born in Amsterdam and came to Australia at the
age of 2 ....and even tho I can read (very basic) Dutch it sometimes become
frustrating when you think you are on the right track and all of a sudden
you go down a deep hole to nowhere...........But as you say that is the case
with a lot of Sites ..Genealogy or otherwise
The Search facility that Rob Kuijsten posted is the best name search
facility so far without a doubt.
My Parents my Sister and Myself came from Holland in 1952 ...Both my parents
have passed on since 1998 here in Brisbane Australia......Unfortunately they
left only scant information about our Dutch Ancestory...and so My sister and
I are on a mission to ensure that our children know where they came
from!....For me.... Researching your families Genealogy seems to put your
own life into!
