Hope someone can help!!
My g-g-g-grps, Theobold/Theobole/Deobold ESSNER, b. ca 1792, & wife
Marianne NUSSBAUM,b. ca 1792, arrived at the Port of Baltimore, 30 Sept
1833, with 5 children: Rosina b. ca 1820; Ambrose, b. 7 Nov 1821;
Nicholas, b. 6 Dec 1823; Paul, b. ca 1828; Marianna b. ca 1831; & twin,
Oswald T. b. 8 Jan 1831. They settled in Stark Co. Canton, OH. On all
documents they say they were born in either Germany or Alsace. On one
paper where a relative did some research was written the ship Palembang.
They were all Catholics. I have been unable to find birthplace, ship, no
relatives in Germany. Can someone out there please help?????
