Subject: German POW camp in Missisippi

I am searching for the location and records of
NA Camp Mc Cain, Miss. USA. This is the only reference I have.This
camp was the place of imprisonment for a German Submarine Crew U 805
in 1945/46. My father who was a Chief Petty Officer on U 805 was
taken prisoner on 14 May 1945 after the submarine surrendered to US
authorities near Portsmouth NH.
Any leads you may provide will be gladly appreciated.
