Subject: "Zuminken-IS THIS A CITY?

I found a reference to "Zuminken, Brandenburg" as a place that my
ancestors may have come from. This was in a church membership record as
the place my family came from or where they were born before coming to
America. Can anyone give me any ideas as to where or what I should be
looking for? I know not to trust the listing implicitly as the writer
probably used their own spelling based on the information given. Any
suggestions on the next step would be greatly appreciated.
