And, if you're near San Francisco, you'll want to check out the Sutro
Library for a whole lot of reasons! It's a tremendous place to spend your
days in family research.
I think you will find that most genealogical libraries make an effort to
acquire this set. It's available at the Genealogical Forum in Portland, OR
(although I must confess the ONE volume I need is misbound - and the only
page I need is the one page that's missing!)
Sounds like your best bet wherever you are is to always enlist the help of
your local librarian. Even if they don't have the set in their collection,
it never hurts to let them know what a patron needs to find on their trips
to the library.
And, if you are in a small town that has limited resources, you might
consider offering your volunteer assistance to help raise funds for such
special collections. It's just a thought....
