55278 Eimsheim is across the Kuehkopf natural reserve on river Rhine
near Darmstadt (you distinguish the bulge of the river on most maps). It
is in former Hesse-Darmstadt territory of the current federal state
Rhineland-Palatine.

Most of the current DEBOBEN phonebook entries are in a radius of some 50
km around that place (cf. http://www.teleauskunft.de).

You could enquire at the community administration for appropriate
archives, since no church office is listed for Eimsheim:
