Hi!
There are both Groths and Jægers in Denmark, so you should try and look at the
names on this site and compare them to the ones you have.

I don't know what period you are looking in, but at least in the 19th and
beginning of 20th centuries when there was a lot of disputes sbout
Schleswig-Holstein, some people who were really Danes bur came to live in
Germany because of new borders, had to regain their Danish citizenship and they
are also listed on this site.
