Apologies for the confusion.

GEN-DE-L is gated to the newsgroup soc.genealogy.german. A message is seen
on both resources.

The same holds true for soc.genealogy.computing, which is gated to GENCMP-L.

news.groups is a newsgroup where discussions, such as this reorganization
take place. Some of the messages are being cross-posted to the s.g.computing
newsgroup.

What I provided was a pointer for people to know that the discussions were
taking place, currently in its third major modification and where to find
those discussions. Again, apologies for the confusion.
